Blue Alligator?

Here is a story about Abby that I just love....

I was bringing in groceries from the car and Abby started asking to have "blue alligator". I had no idea what she was talking about. I started looking at everything I had purchased to see if I could find a blue alligator on one of the labels. She was getting frustrated and upset at me that I wasn't giving her the blue alligator. I finally told her I couldn't give her any because I didn't know what she was talking about. Later that evening, Jonny was pouring himself a glass of Gatorade (it was blue need I say) that I had bought at the store that day. Then Abby asked again if she could have some blue alligator. The lights finally turned on in my brain. Alligator...Gatorade...pretty close to the same thing. We now refer to Gatorade as blue alligator or yellow alligator or orange alligator etc.
